Low cost e-marketing

At the recent gift and homewares exhibtion, I was pleasantly suprised by how many companies accepted that e-marketing had become an integral component of attracting members to a website and that facebook was used for business purposes, not just a source of wasting time looking at photos

Starting up a business is not easy. Trying to get business and members to use my site in its infancy is a challenging task.

However, the availability of low cost e-marketing avenues makes the goals of the business achievable. Unlike Ebay, 365Sales has a limited advertising budget. Subsequently, especially in the initial stages of the business, low cost forms of e-marketing will have to be used.

This is not such a bad thing. The internet has allowed small business to blossom from humble beginnings. A facebook page or twitter account has the potential to reach a massive audience, without costing the company any money. We can communicate information at no cost to people who, without the availability of e-marketing, would most likely have never have heard of us. This blog could even be categorised as a form of e-marketing for the business and it did not cost a cent.

On that note, I will use my free source of marketing to direct you to http://www.365sales.com/ and sign up to the website or send me an email at info@365sales.com

  1. Now here's the challenge... why would anyone want to follow you on Twitter or Facebook? What value can you offer the people that you are targeting?

Customers are always going to be suspicious of new online businesses. If you can't provide a very convincing reason for them to engage with you online, then you won't succeed.

An online voice (alone) is insufficient. Add some value.
